GNOME owners in Somerset are being urged to get involved with a new music project this month.
Tawdry Child will be making a music video produced by song-smith Tony Leach, which is due to be filmed in late September.
The song and video are a satirical, tongue-in-cheek take on modern-day living and will feature, rather unusually, the common garden gnome as a main character.
Tony said: “An exciting opportunity exists to get involved with this project, filmed locally and using a host of local talent from make-up artists to puppeteers, dancers to photographers.
“We'd like to call on all gnome owners who think their beloved garden ornament may have a career in acting. If your gnome has character please get in touch.
“Send a photo of your gnome to tawdry@wild-reality.net and we'll keep in touch about upcoming auditions. We'd also be happy to hear from anyone who wishes to get involved.”
The video and song will be released later in the year.
