EVER heard of Tunisian crochet? Let your curiosity be piqued at a workshop at Artfully Made in Wellington on October 25.
Tunisian crochet, also known as tricot or Afghan crochet, has been around a while.
Often described as between knitting and crochet, this quick to work technique produces a range of finishes, from dense, snug fabrics to light airy lace.
The workshops, with all materials and equipment supplied, will help with the basics and some fancy stitches, working in rows to make flat pieces as well as in the round.
The workshop costs £35 – for more information visit www.artfullymade.co.uk
