CHILDREN aren’t always encouraged to make lots of noise – but they certainly will be on Saturday night, at the ever popular Frieze Hill Community Orchard annual Wassail in Taunton.
The event will feature a bonfire, fireworks and entertainment from the Big Noise Street Band and Wassail songs from the Wood Street Community Choir.
Families are also encouraged to bring bells, whistles, horns and drums to make lots of noise.
There will be refreshments including mulled cider and apple cake, apple juice and a barbeque offering locally produced burgers and hotdogs (with a vegetarian option).
The free event takes place at the orchard next to Turner’s Allotments, opposite Taunton School. For more details click here.
