Taunton Live Arts Festival
TAUNTON Live 2018 will once again bring the Arts to the streets of Taunton for a fourth year.
Putting on a programme of events celebrating the creative & performing Arts during July. The ‘Big Saturday’ is on Saturday, July 21 on Goodlands Gardens, where there will be live local music, dance, poetry, drawing, sculpture, & community arts projects as well as offering free Creative workshops for all the family. The Two Gentlemen Of Verona By William Shakespeare
TO celebrate the birth of the Taunton Thespians in 1928, and the ninety nifty years in which they have entertained Taunton, this high octane, high energy production of Shakespeare’s The Two Gentlemen of Verona will be set in the “Roaring” Twenties. Takes place at 7.30pm at Blackmore Farm, Blackmore Lane, Cannington, Bridgwater. Tickets from Taunton Visitor Centre, Market House £12 Full £5 Students, Unwaged and Under 16’s.Tickets on sale at Taunton Visitor Centre.

Somerset Opera present Carmen
CARMEN tells the story of the downfall of Don José, a soldier who is seduced by the fiery gypsy Carmen. José abandons his childhood sweetheart and deserts from his military duties, yet loses Carmen’s love to the glamorous matador Escamillo, after which José kills her in a jealous rage. Takes place at 7.30pm at Kings College Theatre, Taunton, Tickets from Taunton Visitor Centre. Adults £20, Eassy Access £20, 16 and Under £10.
