TIVERTON'S Comedy Hall is set to get Christmas started party style with its last show of the year.

On Saturday, December 20, the comedic improvisation group The Noise Next Door will headline the Comedy Hall stage at Tiverton Community Arts Theatre (TCAT).

They will be bringing their unique take on laughter to Tiverton and tickets are already selling well.

The Noise consists of five stand-ups who combine quick wit with incredible improvisation skills to turn everyday suggestions and banter from the audience into jokes, sketches and songs.

"Hilarious… A superior kind of chaos" - Daily Telegraph.

"Comedy gold… Staggeringly well executed" - Guardian.

"This is 21st Century comedy at its very finest and funniest" - Stage.

The group has a growing reputation, with several appearances on TV including That Music Show (Channel 4), Sketchorama (BBC Radio 4) and Secret Interview of a Lifetime (Channel 5) and a cult following online, and this date is part of their second sell-out national tour.

The evening is sure to be a cracker as Comedy Hall has laid on much more than just the comedy.

‘Go Local’ will be bringing their pop-up restaurant to TCAT, serving a great range of food sourced from the West Country.

Their menu will pull from Mexican and Far Eastern influences to more traditional fare including the obligatory turkey at a modest price.

“For a small business wanting to take out staff, or for friends and colleagues looking to get together for Christmas, this last Saturday night before the big event will be perfect,” says Steve Lodge, who has organised Comedy Hall for nearly eight years.

“The Noise create a five-man party atmosphere in their own right, but add some great quality food and a well-stocked bar and hey presto, you have a comedy Christmas to remember!”

Doors, restaurant and the bar at TCAT on Bolham Road, Tiverton, will be open from 6.30pm on Saturday December 20, with the comedy starting at 8pm.
