The Institute of Agricultural Secretaries and Administrators (IAgSA) is hosting a South East Regional Training day on 23rd September at Newbury Rugby Football Club, Newbury in Berkshire. The event is open to all farm administrators, secretaries, book keepers, farming businesses’ and members of farming families who are involved in administration and book keeping on the hundreds of farms and agricultural businesses’ across the South.

The programme of events for the day will be addressing some of the most current legislative changes facing the agricultural sector, including that of Pension Auto Enrolment regulations, changes to Countryside Stewardship, the ongoing work relating to the Basic Payment Scheme and mapping, the standards required to meet the various farm inspections and the incoming RDPE Grant opportunities along with a focus on business finance and planning.

The aim of this interactive and informative day is to provide those involved within the industry, with up to date knowledge and understanding of the current issues that are currently incoming and landing on their busy desks.

The IAgSA Regional Training event has gained a tremendous amount of support from national industry bodies, including that of the Rural Payment Agency, SAI Global, Natural England and Barclays. Regional support for the event has also been strong with Hazlewoods Accountants coming forward to support the day.
