Waterstones to hold World Book Night

Taunton'S Waterstones store will be holding a World Book Night from 6pm to 8pm on Saturday, March 5.

The event follows World Book Day on March 3 and aims to promote the reading and discussion of books.

Authors Stewart Binns, Kit Chapman, Martin Hesp, Emma Craigie, Ally Kennan, Charles Wood, Jo Reed, Ron Clooney, Jackie Gingell, Adam Etherington and Robert Dunning will be on hand to discuss their own works, inspirations and favourite books.

There will be wine and light refreshments along with a competition to win some of the most popular books currently on sale.

The first 40 guests through the door will also receive a copy of Gabriel Garcia Marquez's novel Love in the Time of Cholera.
