NECESSITY maybe the mother of invention but the Taunton Scout & Guides Gang Show 2017 proved to be just as innovative with this effervescent performance.
The 2017 Gang Show was driven by pure enthusiasm and this ‘Good Ship Entertainment’ set off in sparkling style with a song entitled Light Up Your Night and never stopped until the Finale.
The first half of the show got the audience in the mood for the show and gave them a taster of what talent was on display on stage.
One of the fun moments of the first section was a number called Mini Folk, it was amusing and showed good comic timing.
The first half flew by with a host of musical numbers to keep everyone entertained. After a break we were off again with the second act which kept the songs and fun coming as they say ‘thick and fast’.
Each of the young performers, even if they were in the chorus or taking a lead role, showed gallons of gusto and verve.
At the final note of the final act, the crowd was cheering wildly and made sure each of the performers on stage felt special. They all deserved the ovation for a super 2017 Gang Show.
The Gang Show is at the Brewhouse until April 15 and tickets cost £7.50-£8.50.
