FANS of the life and music of the late great Bob Marley are in for a treat as the UK’s leading Bob Marely Tribute, Legend, makes a debut at Exeter Corn Exchange just three weeks after the Reggae icon’s birthday.
The band is led by the charismatic Michael Anton Phillips, and Legend's two-hour show covers the very best of timeless classics, through flawless musicianship and a respectful portrayal and journey through the life and times of Bob Marley. The show features everything from Is This Love, No Woman No Cry and Could You Be Loved to I Shot The Sheriff and Jamming.
Legend’s members have an impressive career history. They have worked with such Reggae greats as Madness, The Mighty Diamonds, The Original Wailers, Dennis Brown, Rankin Roger, The Beat, Burning Spear, Apache Indian, Errol Dunkley, George and Desmond Decker, Musical Youth plus many more, and have toured all over the world with their incredible tribute including the States, Canada, South Africa and all over Europe. Lead singer Leonie Smith was Pato Banton’s backing singer for 12 years.
