POP legends a-ha will be joined by special guests the Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey as their headline support, along with 80’s icons China Crisis at their gig at Huish Park, home of Yeovil Town Football Club, on Saturday, June 9, as part of their 2018 Summer Electric Tour.
China Crisis emerged in 1981 from their native Kirkby, Merseyside, as the song writing duo of vocalist/ keyboardist Gary Daly and guitarist/ vocalist Eddie Lundon, who over the years have been accompanied by a gifted and creative but ever-mutable group of musicians both on stage and in their recordings.
The Thompson Twins had huge hits on both sides of the Atlantic during the mid-80s with an impressive back catalogue of hits, including the singles Hold on Me, Doctor Doctor and Love on Your Side.
For decades the band’s fans have been waiting for their return, and now Tom Bailey – singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer - has returned with a new band, touring and performing the Thompson Twins’ much-loved songs.
Standing tickets at Huish Park, Yeovil, are priced at £45 plus booking fee (General Admission) and £65 plus booking fee (Golden Circle).
