A CONCERT series begun by The Somerset Organists’ and Choirmasters’ Association in the aftermath of Somerset’s flooding devastation continues in North Curry on Saturday, July 5.
“Notable” organist Stephen Bell has offered to give a recital at the parish church, and will be joined by the Jubilee Singers and other musical souls from the village.
SOCA’s Helen Griffiths said: “It’s easy to think the flooding problems are over, but as you know if you’ve driven through Moorland or others places so severely damaged by the water, help will be needed for some time to come.”
The Wind and Wave Concert starts at 7.30pm with donations being collected for the Somerset Community Flood Relief Fund.
