A LIMITED number of tickets are now on sale to see highly recommended Scottish comedian Alan Francis headline a night of silliness at Taunton’s Brazz brasserie on Thursday, September 11.

Francis won Channel 4’s ‘So You Think You’re Funny Award’ in 1991, but has since grown as a writer, stand-up and actor.

He has worked as a writer-performer on Alistair McGowan’s Big Impression, BBC Scotland’s Pulp Video and The 11 o’Clock Show.

On radio, he co-starred in Radio 4’s The Alan Davies Show, and contributed to Big One FM and Radio 5 Live’s The Treatment.

He will be flanked by a line-up including Neil McFarlane, whose comedy career started in Scotland 14 years ago.

With the last show a sell-out, September’s is expected to be no different at Brazz.

General admission is £15 to the venue in Castle Bow for standing space only, while dining and show ticket options are also available.

Call 01823-328303 for details or visit events.the-castle-hotel.com to book.
