DESCRIBED as “an epic adventure packed full of comedy and melodrama”, Miracle Theatre’s Dr Livingstone, I Presume? is coming to the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre, near Taunton, next week.
This Victorian travelling theatre company deftly tells the story of the famous explorer - and his obsessive travels to the heart of Africa in search of the source of the River Nile - via a series of music hall turns (song and ballet, ventriloquism and stand-up comedy).
Miracle Theatre’s artistic director, Bill Scott, said: “Dr Livingstone, I Presume? proved a huge hit with audiences first time round in 1997 and this refurbished version, with its fantastic cast of comic and musical talent, promises to sparkle with even greater charm!”
The show is on Friday, February 13, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £12 (concessions £10/students £8). To book, phone 01823-414141.
