THE Mount Somerset Hotel, in Taunton prepares for a visit from England's most famous Queen Victoria impersonator.
The Queen will be giving the Hotel a quick once over in preparation for a Christmas visit, when she is set to give a presentation of her act.
Sylvia Strange, the Queen impersonator, works exclusively for English Heritage, and is the only look-a-like allowed to perform at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight, the former home of Queen Victoria.
It takes two hours to prepare the Queen's costumes for the event, including authentic Victorian underwear and corsets.
Judith Skorupski, of Back to Broadway, said: "She sounds uncannily like the late Queen."
