PUPILS at Porlock School proved they had real grit and determination – by selecting a name for one of Somerset County Council’s gritters.
The school was among six in the county, including Dunster School, pictured right, to be judged winners of the competition to select a new name for the machine.
Pupils at Porlock selected the name ‘Dubric’ and entered their suggestion using social media website Twitter.
