A HARDY runner is preparing to push himself to the limit ... by running three marathons in three days.

Robin Upton, of Weacombe Road, will take on the Jurassic Coast to Coast ultra running challenge beginning on Friday, March 22, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Planning consultant Robin said: “I’ve been going running on the Quantocks for training as the terrain is pretty similar to the route. I’ve also done bits of the course before but not all of it.”

“A few members of my family have suffered from cancer and Macmillan has supported them.”

The hilly course will take Robin from Charmouth to Poole where he will climb the equivalent of eight Eiffel Towers.
