T wasn't just Chris Froome who was riding quickly across France this summer...
Students, teachers and parents from Wellington School had their own mini Tour de France.
The 20-strong team made up of Year 9, 10 and 11 students pedalled from Bordeaux to Caen in seven days, covering around 100km each day.
Their efforts were rewarded on the final leg of the tour, when the tired bunch jumped into the English Channel at Ouistreham to cool off.
Next year, the next batch of cyclists will ride in the other direction from Bordeaux to Barcelona so students can take a dip in the Mediterranean.
