ARTISTIC youngsters in Taunton got to experiment for a week with a mix of media and methods at a summer art school.
Among the skills and techniques teacher and adult creativity coach Ceri Morton-Thomas passed on to her group of budding Botticellis was inviting them to “get in touch with their animal spirit” and print-making.
“For young people to have access to the arts, and to have these opportunities to develop their own form of expression and creativity, is really important,” said Ceri, who is also secretary of Taunton Women’s Forum.
The course culminated in an exhibition at Taunton’s Holy Trinity Church hall to show off the results of the 11-19 year-olds' efforts.
