A PROTEST song recorded by Queen guitarist Brian May to voice opposition to the badger cull is rapidly climbing the charts.
Actor Brian Blessed’s unique vocals are featured on ‘Save The Badger, Badger, Badger’, which is the most popular track in the iTunes Store top ten rock chart.
It comes after the controversial government policy to cull more than 5,000 badgers in West Somerset and Gloucestershire got underway on Monday (August 26), dividing opinion across the country.
Campaigners have made their way to the pilot cull zones this week, and despite being evicted from a site near Watchet, one protest group has set up a new ‘Camp Badger’ in the district.
