BHANGRA rock fusion band RSVP, right, are gearing up for an exciting night in Porlock on Friday.
Fresh from shows at Watchet Live, Womad and Glastonbury, where they drew packed crowds, the family group blends traditional Punjabi celebratory folk music with western influences.
Unafraid to experiment with the modern while wholly rooted in an authentic living tradition, RSVP are masters at getting people on their feet, and the result is fresh, exciting and infectious – partying guaranteed.
Their show is being brought to Porlock village hall by Take Art and tickets can be bought from Porlock Visitor Centre or at wegottickets.com for £10 with reductions for families and students – call 01643-863150.
