DOCTORS are celebrating the eagerly-awaited opening of a new surgery in Wiveliscombe.
Staff moved into the £2million state-of-the-art facility in Croft Way today (December 2) after years of struggle in the old premises.
Practice manager Emma Spiller said: “Staff are excited about the opportunities this new building will give to enhance the services we provide to the community.
“Patients will be thrilled with the quality and general ambience of the new surgery.”
The surgery features a large waiting area and has enough office space to accommodate staff.
In the Bollams Mead site, many found themselves hot-desking and it was unable to cope with the 6,800 patients on the roll.
County Gazette photographer Steve Richardson popped along to the opening.
