Delays on M5 near Bridgwater after crash

Two cars collide in middle lane at around 10.20am.

  • All lanes were closed southbound between J23-24.
  • Two people suffer 'minor injuries'.
  • Lanes now re-open but long delays likely.

    I wondered- why @ 11.30 the traffic was queued back to Sydenham, on Westonzoyland Rd, and on Bath Road up over the Motorway Bridge. This is becoming a weekly occurance.
    Motorway lanes closed, traffic coming off the Motorway to find its way via the A38 and A39, Bridgwater nose to tail...........,
    Now will you all log into my epetition and Sign up to support my Call for the Bridgwater By-Pass to be re-evaluated, or do you want 10 years of Chaos on our roads . when EDF start the Construction of the Biggest Construction Project in Europe.........

    Couldn't agree more Blue Owl, and by the way I signed your e-petition last week.. Bridgwater is fast becoming equal to the M25 'carpark' !!!
