THE children at Halberton primary School took a trip back through time to visit the Iron Age, as part of the new national history curriculum in schools.
The pupils dressed up in costumes and battle gear for the day, during which they were also visited by educational officer Ollie Martin, who talked to them about the way people lived during the Iron Age.
Head teacher Helen Eversett said: “The children had a great time and lots of fun, including a pretend battle. We've been studying the Iron Age as part of our new curriculum and the children have really enjoyed it.”
