QUEEN's College in Taunton has chosen the work of French painter Matisse and Jazz music to inspire its annual dance show.
A collaboration between the school's art department and dance coach/choreographer Kay Bloxham has produced a show that combines a display of paintings and 3D work in the style of Matisse with a series seven dance sequences inspired by individual Jazz paintings.
Some of his most famous works such as Icarus and Cowboys have been entirely re-interpreted into an exciting fusion of music and dance by Mrs Bloxham and her team.
The production is running on February 7-8, at the performing arts centre at Queen's Hall.
