A FIVE-YEAR-OLD boy impaled his foot on a seesaw in Dunster this afternoon (August 6). 

Fire crews from Minehead and an ambulance attended the incident at Mill Lane after receiving the call at 3.05pm. 

On arrival, the boy had been released from the seesaw.

He had impaled his foot on a large nail and sustained a deep wound. 

The child was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton after the crews treated him.

my heart goes out to the little one these places are ment to be checked but i can't help noticing in the pic the little boys doesn't have any shoes on to me this is very silly i wouldn't let my children out of my garden without footwear in this day and age you just don't now !!
