300 tonnes of hay destroyed in barn fire at Orchard Portman

FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a barn fire in Orchard Portman this afternoon.

Around 300 tonnes of hay was destroyed in the fire at a farm at the back of Taunton Racecourse.

The fire was reported at 2.37pm and is now under control.

That doesn’t surprise me, my Brother in Law had a visit from the Police and was cautioned! All he did was report that his car and several others in his street were damaged overnight.

the same thing happen to my husband he had finish work and arrived home about 9.30pm and cars etc has been damaged in our street including ours and someone seen my husband and reported him to the police the next day they came and arrested him and took him to the police station but later let him go as there wasn't enough evidence its a joke! maybe it they were around more things like this wouldn't be happen !!

Exactly! I'm out on bail ATM they have taken my clothes and my iPhone 5s which I won't get for 3 months! I've then got to go answer to bail in bridgewater
