DERBY fever was in air on Bank Holiday Monday as Taunton Town took on Tiverton Town at The Viridor Stadium.

Despite a goalless 90 minutes in the Calor League South & West Division clash, the hundreds of fans who attended enjoyed a family day at the football.

It's a while since I've been to the ground and I as was quite impressed with the progress off the pitch.
The game was entertaining and full blooded, the result just about right.
However the queue for the tea hut at half time was awful. My friend and I didn't bother to wait. Something needs to be put right as income and match-day satisfaction will be down
