A DISCO to raise funds to develop a hospital and school in West Africa is on at the Princess Royal in Taunton on Saturday (August 30).

The venue in Cannon Street is hosting a night of family fun, with music, a barbecue and a grand raffle, with the money raised going directly to the causes.

Tickets cost £5, and can be bought from the pub, or by calling Cheryl on 07891-483380 or Yvonne on 07881-935618.

The fundraising will continue on Sunday September 28 with an holistic experience day at Comeytrowe hall, between 2pm and 5pm.

Visitors will find stalls from Lush, sugar crafts, and good quality clothes, among other items.

Entry will be free.
