EVER thought you’re really clever?

Well, you can find out just how right or wrong you are when Mensa offer a free IQ test in Taunton.

The test takes place in Taunton Library, in Paul Street, at 11am on Saturday, March 21.

Tests can be booked at www.mensa.org.uk where there is also a choice of puzzles to help exercise the grey matter.

The free on-line workout, which involves 18 questions in 15 minutes, will give an indication of how well you would score in a standardised IQ test.

British Mensa has about 20,000 members of all ages and from all walks of life, but there are more than a million potential Mensans in the UK.

Anyone with an IQ in the top 2% of the population is eligible to join the society, which offers a varied social events programme, a monthly magazine, regional newsletters and more than 100 special interest groups ranging from classical music to chocolate.

The supervised test costs £24.95, including a free personality profile, and must be booked in advance.
