A RECORD breaking 21 students at Richard Huish College have received offers from Oxford and Cambridge Universities this year. One student has been made a highly sought after matriculation offer' made to only a small handful of exceptional students each year.

March Gutt has an offer of two A Level passes at E grade to read Modern Languages at Christ's College, Cambridge emphasising how highly Christ's College regards March.

Thirteen students have received offers from Oxford University.

These include Charlotte Raymonde-Parker at Merton College and Damian Lees at Oriel College to study medicine, Ed Cresswell at Lincoln and Tim Perry at Keble to study computing, Toby Smyth at St Catherine's for Maths and Computing and Dom Kerr at Magdalen College for Maths.

Jenny Edmunds at New College and Lucie Kinchin at Pembroke have had offers to read English and Marc Kidson to study Politics, Philosophy and Economics at St John's along with Corwin Tomkinson for Physics.

Grades permitting Elena Lynch will read Modern Foreign Languages at Wadham, Eleanor Diamond will read Arabic at Pembroke and Sophie Harvey will be at St Hilda's to study Egyptology.

Eight students in total have been successful in their applications to Cambridge.

Three students have been offered places to study Engineering - Helen Brawn at Jesus College, and Paul Davis and Stephen Hodgson both at Homerton.

Jason Sanders (Pembroke) and Jeremy Hulse (St Catherine's), have offers to study Natural Sciences.

And Alice Webster (Trinity Hall) has been offered a place to read Maths and Physics and Bessie Spencer-Vellacott to read Social and Political Science at Fitzwilliam.
