Recycling centre evacuated on Brendon Road, watchet
A RECYCLING centre in Watchet was evacuated following a fire within one of its machines.
Two fire crews attended the incident in Brendon Road at around 2pm and used on site fire fighting equipment, a main jet and a hose reel jet to ensure the fire was out.
Crews also used a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots around the site.
