S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G stars at Bishop Henderson School are celebrating after winning a Spelling Bee competition.
The event was organised by Kip Mcgrath and the four year 4 pupils made it through to the finals for a tense head to head with St George’s School.
Year 4 teacher Rebecca Grant said: “The children really enjoyed it, the final was quite difficult for them really as there were some tricky words.
“It was neck and neck between the two schools for the whole of the competition but we just pipped St George’s to it at last minute.”
