SAINSBURY'S Local Charity of the Year scheme is back for the seventh year and the Hankridge Farm store is looking for a new charity to support from the Taunton area.
For the first time this year, customers will be given a choice of charities to vote for and the winning charity will then help from the store to fundraise and raise awareness about the charity for the forthcoming year.
Customers can vote between June 15th – 28th in stores and online at sainsburyslocalcharity.co.uk The Sainsbury’s Local Charity of the Year scheme has raised over £7million in the last six years and has helped thousands of charities across the UK.
Lyndon Brown, Store Manager of Sainsbury’s Hankridge Farm said: “We know there are so many great charities in the local area and we’re really excited about providing a boost to one of these over the next year.”
Register your interest at the customer service desk at your local branch, Sainsbury’s Hankridge Farm, Heron Gate to be considered.
The deadline for entries is May 11.
