LANDLADY Beverley Higgins has seen customers in her two Taunton pubs donate over £500 to a charity that supported her mother.
The money was raised in the Black Horse and the Kings Arms for Somerset Sight through collection boxes on the bars.
Becky Fry, development officer for Somerset Sight, said: "We are hugely reliant on local fundraising and donations so we are very appreciative of the support from Beverley and all the staff and customers at the Black Horse and the Kings Arms.”
