A GROUP of ten London Marathon runners raised over £20,000 for St Margaret’s Hospice.
St Margaret’s events facilitator Sonia Bateman said: “It really is a great achievement and we are so proud of our runners, not only have they reached some wonderful personal goals but while doing this they have raised such a fantastic sum of money which will go straight into caring for patients and their families in Somerset.”
Several sponsored events are being organised to raise funds for the hospice, including a Hadrian’s Wall Trek in September and a Ben Nevis Challenge in October.
