Police have released CCTV images of a couple who used a pensioner's bank card to pay for an Asda shop.
The man and woman pictured are wanted in connection with theft at Sainsbury's in High Street Walthamstow, on August 6 at around 3.20pm.
A woman in her late 60s had her purse stolen from her trolley as she was not looking at Sainsbury's.
A bank card within her purse was then used later that day to pay for a £51 shopping bill at Asda in Stamford Hill.
The images provided by Waltham Forest police have come from Asda's CCTV.
They have been released as part of a joint venture between the Guardian and the Metropolitan Police to identify perpetrators of unsolved crimes.
Anyone who recognises them is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 4915954/15.
