CONTROVERSIAL plans for 2,000 homes on farmland have been approved.
The biggest ever planning application considered by Taunton Deane Council went through at a planning meeting last night, Wednedsay, January 27.
The proposals from a consortium of four developers will see the scheme, including a new primary school and park and bus land between Comeytrowe, in Taunton, and the village of Trull.
The meeting at The Castle School granted outline permission for the project - a previous meeting before Christmas had deferred a decision.
