Reality star David Gest found dead in hotel room
REALITY TV star and music producer David Gest has died.
The 62-year-old who was a close friend of Michael Jackson, died in London today, his friend Imad Handi has said in a statement.
Gest was previously married to Liza Minnelli and has appeared on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and Celebrity Big Brother.
The entertainer was found dead in the Four Seasons hotel in Canary Warf, London.
Metropolitan Police say they were called at 10.17am and that Gest's death is unexplained but is not being treated as suspicious.
His next of kin are being informed and a post-mortem will be held.
