A FAST-growing company's new office building has been officially opened by Taunton Deane MP Rebecca Pow.
Claims Consortium which is headquartered in Culmhead, has moved 70 of its 270 employees to Nightingale House, in East Reach, Taunton.
Ms Pow said: “This is great news for Taunton, not only through making an historic building fit for the modern age, but also in terms of bringing a welcome boost for the town centre.
"Claims Consortium is a role model for success in the region having been awarded the Investors in People Gold standard and been included in the top 1000 Companies to Inspire Europe list.
“It also has a commendable track record in supporting its staff with mild learning difficulties and I hope to be able to share their insights with the wider business community."
Group chief executive Jeremy Hyams said: “We’re delighted with our new building which gives us the scope to continue our growth in Taunton Deane.
"We have plans for further expansion in East Reach, and ambitious goals in the insurance sector which will create new employment opportunities."
