ARE you missing a ferret?
This little one was found in the South Alcombe area of Minehead on Saturday afternoon.
It entered a house through a cat flap and explored the kitchen.
Although it was removed from the house to the garden, it returned shortly afterwards so the householders, not entirely sure what it was, and slightly concerned in case it bit the cat, telephoned Tropiquaria.
Directors Chris Moiser and Jane Bassett went and picked it up half an hour later and took it back to the zoo at Washford Cross.
Chris said: “It is a young animal and very pretty. Although obviously used to being handled, it has bitten at least one staff member, and still requires some patience and care to make it safer to handle.”
If you are missing a ferret contact Tropiquaria on 01984 640688 and ask for Chris or Sam.
