RECORD-breaking runners from Taunton were two of the 17 runners from Somerset who took part in the London Marathon.
John Cronk, and Paul Bradley, completed the run in aid of St Margaret's Somerset Hospice, and between them raised almost £45,000.
John, said: "It was an electric atmosphere, but it was a bit special to run for a local charity and a pleasure to raise funds for the hospice."
Running in the mini marathon was young Adele Martin, aged 11, from Langport, who was St Margaret's first ever mini runner.
Diana Davies, fundraising manager, said; "All the runners have my absolute admiration.
"I know how much effort they all took for training, and also raising the sponsorship."
