FUNERAL director Simon Farmer is undertaking one of his toughest assignments yet - standing up to TV's rudest woman, Anne Robinson.
Simon, who works in Creech St Michael, is on BBC's The Weakest Link quiz show next month.
And he's ready for Anne - he said: "She's fearsome and I reckon I'll get absolutely slaughtered because of my job.
"But it's all about coming back with a quick retort and I think I can hold my own. I'll give as good as I get.
"I'm not afraid of her - in fact, she should be afraid of me."
Simon applied to go on the show because he was fed up watching contestants get the wrong answer.
He said: "It's frustrating - I was screaming out the answers, so I thought, Why not have a go?' "When I heard I was going on, I thought I'd try to blend into the background - but that's not going to happen."
