A MAN has been taken to hospital after being freed from a car following a crash in Bilbrook.
The crash happened on the A39 opposite Cobb Farm in Bilbrook at around 2pm.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called 2.47pm to help free a male casualty trapped in a vehicle.
Two fire appliances from Williton and a Rescue Tender from Taunton were sent to a help.
On arrival the crew confirmed that the incident involved one vehicle that had left the roadway and that a male casualty was still within the vehicle.
Fire crews assisted the ambulance personnel by stabilizing the vehicle.
The injured man was released using hydraulic cutting equipment and small tools.
It is not yet known whether the man's injuries were serious.
