A CHRISTMAS raffle at Barleymow Farm Shop and Restaurant, in Chard, raised £1,825 for Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment.
Other donations for the County Gazette-backed SURE, which equips the Beacon Centre cancer unit at Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital, included £199.70 from Linda Woods from the sale of cards.
Collection pots realised £36.06 at the One Stop Shop, Galmington; £51 from Tesco Express, in High Street, Taunton; £96.91 at Tesco Express, Comeytrowe; and £100.45 at Tesco Express, East Reach.
Collections of 5p coins included £10 from Stephanie Lawrence and £15 from Peter and Shirley Stroud, of Taunton.
There was a £25 donation from Margaret Jones, of Tintinhull; £100 from P. R. and M. Bigwood; and £50 from the Tuesday Club, of Roadwater.
The £83.48 from the Beacon Centre included £43.35 in 5ps.
The week's total of£2,592.60 means £666,294.48 has been raised since SURE linked up with the Gazette.
