RESIDENTS joined homeowners and staff at Bridgwater's Blake Court for a very vintage affair.
The vintage tea party held at the McCarthy and Stone development in Northgate helped raise a total of £450 for older people's charity the Royal Voluntary Service.
In return for a small donation, guests enjoyed a glass of fizz or a cup of tea as well as a delicious selection of homemade cakes.
The celebrations took place to mark McCarthy and Stone’s 40th anniversary and the vintage tea party at Blake Court is one of the first of a series of events planned for the year, with the aim of raising over £130,000 to support the charity’s projects across the south west.
Sue Atkinson, House Manager at Blake Court, said: “It is a fantastic cause and we are committed to helping the charity continue its work enriching the lives of older people and their families through volunteers."
