TAUNTON Deane will have a new Mayor this evening (Thursday) when Cllr Vivienne Stock-Williams steps down after her year in office.
Cllr Hazel Prior-Sankey is set to be installed as her replacement at a Taunton Deane Borough Council meeting in the Long Room of the Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton, at 6.30pm.
Mrs Prior-Sankey has previously served as Mayoress when her husband, Adrian, who is to be her Consort, was Mayor.
Cllr Catherine Herbert has been nominated to become Deputy Mayor and is likely to serve as Mayor from next May.
