A GROUP of travellers have pitched up on the former St Augustine Canterbury School in Taunton.
Nearby residents say they saw the travellers - who have been on the field since May 4, moving off site yesterday morning, May 22.
But last night, more caravans moved on the site off Lyngford Road.

One resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said they thought that there were around 50 caravans on the field.
They added: "I don't think I've ever seen so many vehicles on that field."
A Somerset County Council spokesman said: “We are aware that travellers have based themselves at the St. Augustine site which is off Lyngford Road in Taunton.
"The situation is that we have visited the site and started the required procedures to recover possession of the land.”
