HERE COMES THE CARNIVAL: All the dates you need
CARNIVAL season is upon us so grab your pennies and get ready for the fantastic carts.
The first batch of carnivals to start is the South Somerset Federation of Carnivals circuit.
The season kicks off on Saturday night in Wellington. The procession starts at 7.30pm.
The following carnivals are:
- Ilminster - October 7 - 7.15pm
- Chard - October 14 - 7.30pm
- Taunton - October 21 - 7pm
The next group is the Guy Fawkes Carnival Association.
Bridgwater Carnival kicks off the processions on Saturday, November 4, at 7pm.
The following carnivals are:
- Highbridge and Burnham - Monday, Nov 6 - 7.30pm
- Weston Super Mare - November 10 - 7.15pm
- North Petherton - November 11 - 7pm
- Shepton Mallet - November 15 - 7.30pm
- Wells - November 17 - 7pm
- Glastonbury - November 18 - 7pm
