A BRAVE young charity fundraiser from Taunton, made the decision to shave all of his shoulder length hair off for charity.

Elliott Dommett, age nine, who goes to Parkfield Primary School, told his mum that he wanted to shave off his hair to help the guide dogs for the blind, because he felt the dogs did such a good job in helping others.

Senior stylist Casey Warren, of Hair Associates, in Taunton, set the hair clippers to a grade two ready for the shear, leaving a mass of long dark strands behind him.

Elliott said: "When my hair first went, I had my eyes closed and when I opened my eyes I noticed a big strip on the cloak, it was a bit scary.

"When I went back to school all the children were crowding around me and I felt like a cricket captain again."
