FIREFIGHTERS responded to a lorry fire in West Somerset.
An engine from Nether Stowey and one from Williton were called to reports of the fire on the main road in Kilve at around 8am this morning (June 19).
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "It was found that the rear brakes had been on fire but were out on our arrival.
"Crews used two hosereel jets and thermal image camera to cool the brakes before escorting the lorry to a safer place to await recovery."
